Ehwa Woman's University Professor Jung-ok Yun's serialized columns, "Reportage: Tracing the footsteps of Japanese Military Comfort Women" appeared on the daily newspaper Hankyore.


July 1990

Chongshindae Research Group (renamed as the Korean Research Institute for Chongshindae) was organized.


August 1991

Kim Hak-soon halmoni, the surivor of Japanese Military Sexual Slavery (67 years old at the time), held a press conference for the first time in Korea.


November 1991

37 women's organizations and individuals organized the Korean Council for Women drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan (Chongdaehyup)


July 2007

House Resolution 121 passed.
